Another TV series with too Sophisticated Plot

Watching this or that TV series may be a real addiction. While one series ends another one begins. For example, the Lost, one of the most successful series, came to the end. Another series, the Event , was transmitted on TV recently.

The Event is a TV series which was created by Nick Wauters and released in 2010. I read some essay academic writings about the series. Some critics predicted that the series would be a failure, while others claimed that the film would be a success. I was working over my essays editing when the first episode was transmitted on TV. I put my paper aside immediately. But still, I cannot say that I enjoyed watching the series: the only thing I wanted to do was to have a rest from my academic work. The thing is that I do not like such series which genre may be described as an endless question which would not be answered in the last episode of the last season. To my mind, it is just a trash for brain. It is a petty to admit that the Event is another series which lasts endlessly. The plot of the series did not impress me: the girlfriend of the main character was kidnapped and he tried to find her. By the way of investigation Sean Walker , the main character found out that he and his fiancée were involved into the world conspiracy. So, everything was so complicated that it was difficult to define where the truth and lie were.
